A leading mental health and learning disabilities trust is hiring two Associate Clinical Directors to enhance Research and Development. The roles involve providing leadership, working on clinical trials, and supporting research strategy within a collaborative environment.

Two posts are advertised for the role of AssociateClinical Director of Research and Development (ACD R&D), contributing tothe next phase of development of R&D in the Trust.
The ACDs will be directly accountable to the ClinicalDirector of R&D and will work closely with the Head of Research and R&Dmanager. Both posts will be expected to deputise where appropriate for the ClinicalDirector on matters relating to research and innovation.
Post 1: Will focus on the safe and effectivedelivery of high quality research involving service users and carers asparticipants, providing leadership and support for a group of research leadsacross the specialties
Post 2: Will focus on the growth of commercialresearch and Clinical Trials of Investigational Medicinal Products in theTrust, and will input to the job planning and appraisal of clinical academics.
Both posts will support the CD for R&D insupporting the development and delivery of the innovations department in theTrust.
Towork closely with the Trusts R&D Manager on the delivery of NIHR Portfoliostudies, including identifying and supporting Principal Investigators.
Toprovide leadership and support for the Trusts Research Leads for specialtiesand commercial studies
To support the Clinical Director ofR&D and the Head of Research in the development and delivery of the TrustsResearch and Development Strategy.

We provide a range inpatient and community services to 2m people living in County Durham, the Tees Valley, Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale, Harrogate, Hambleton and Richmondshire. We also provide additional specialist services to other parts of Northern England.
