Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join our client services team. You will handle day-to-day payroll administration for a small portfolio of clients, supported by the wider team, and help ensure accurate processing and timely responses.

You'll develop payroll knowledge, respond to client queries professionally, and pursue CIPP qualifications with team support to advance your payroll career.

About The Team

Due to continued growth in our UK Employer Services team, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Payroll Assistant to join our client services department.

Our national payroll services team works collaboratively to deliver the best client experience, and our Payroll Assistants are primarily responsible for assisting with the administration and processing of payrolls within their team.

About The Role

• Responsible for the day‑to‑day administration of a small portfolio of payroll clients, with support from the wider team
• Assisting the payroll team with various tasks, such as data processing and other payroll & pension administration
• Complete a self‑review of your work to ensure accuracy before submitting to our quality control review
• Where you have contact with clients, you will respond to their queries or requests in a professional and timely manner, and you will proactively seek support from your team if required.
• Attending team and client meetings where required and engage with all training made available to support you with building your skills and payroll expertise
• We support our team to achieve qualifications with CIPP in order to further their payroll career and develop
