Job Description:

Our client, a leading Lloyd's Broker, is seeking an Associate Claims Director to join their expanding Contingency Claims team in London. The role involves servicing claims needs and supporting other team members to achieve targets and deliver first-class service.

Main Duties include:

  1. Managing new instructions and work in progress according to service standards and procedures.
  2. Registering new Contingency claims accurately and updating records.
  3. Maintaining claims and correspondence records, providing clear history and assessments.
  4. Submitting completed claim documentation to insurers promptly.
  5. Dealing with client inquiries within specified timeframes.
  6. Communicating effectively with insurers, service providers, engineers, and loss adjusters.
  7. Advising clients and colleagues to actively manage claims and minimize delays.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in a similar claims role.
  • Client-facing experience in Contingency claims handling.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and London Insurance market IT platforms.

Desirable Skills:

  • Good organizational skills.
  • Effective time management and prioritization.
  • High personal drive and resilience.
  • Working towards CII qualifications is a plus.
