Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP in Winchester seeks an experienced Principal Civil Engineer to lead delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure for UK water companies. Based in Winchester, you’ll direct technical quality, manage projects end-to-end, and mentor engineering teams across asset, treatment, network and environmental work.

You will oversee feasibility through detailed design and construction support, ensuring budgets, programmes and client relationships stay on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or equivalent).
• Extensive experience delivering UK water sector projects.
• Strong understanding of water industry standards and specifications.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams.
• Commercial awareness and project management capability.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• NEC project experience.
• Framework delivery experience for UK water companies.
• Knowledge of BIM and digital engineering workflows.

Responsibilities
