Are you an experienced, motivated Principal Civil Engineer with ambitions of progression and a drive to achieve success? Do you want to work within a collaborative, dynamic environment, with a team of highly skilled and like-minded Engineers? Are you looking to lead and shape an Infrastructure team, as part of a leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy?

We are looking to expand our senior management team and appoint an Infrastructure and Highways Associate Civil Engineer to work across a range of projects within our team in Leicester, Sheffield, or Manchester.

Working closely with the Director, you will be responsible for:

• Leading major projects across sectors including residential, custodial, leisure, defence, education, healthcare, and heritage.

You Can Expect To Be Involved In

• Managing a variety of projects in size, type, and complexity.
• Supervising engineers and technicians to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Your Core Duties Will Include

• Achieving discipline targets through excellent service delivery.
• Liaising with clients and supporting business development activities such as bidding, fee tendering, and client interviews.
• Managing programming, planning, resource allocation, and overseeing designs and reports.

About You

The successful candidate will have significant, proven experience and be passionate about civil engineering.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lead a team, be proactive, forward-thinking, and understand key objectives.
• Experience liaising with clients and managing schemes, including bespoke projects.
• Experience in writing and presenting reports, client interaction, and work winning.
• Good knowledge of industry software such as Site 3D, Infraworks, Civils 3D.
• Excellent communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Ability to build rapport within the interdisciplinary practice.
• CEng or IEng status.
• Experience with various contract types.
