Job description

We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated Associated Practitioner in Cardiology to join our dedicated and friendly team at the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Performing investigations such as Exercise Tolerance Testing, Tilt Table Testing, Ambulatory Cardiac Analysis, and hook-up.
  2. Leading 12 ECGs, both routine and urgent, for all directors.
  3. Fitting Ambulatory Cardiac Monitors, Arrhythmia Event Recorders, and 24-hour Non-Invasive Blood Pressure Monitors.
  4. Supporting the Cardio Respiratory Manager in providing an efficient, cost-effective service and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
  5. Carrying out general administrative duties.

  • Self-motivated, well-organized with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and use initiative.
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to travel between sites.
