The Business Development team is looking for an entry-level Business Development Associate to further develop our business with major corporate institutions, F500 Corporations, Startups, etc. within the region. The Associate will be responsible for assisting in building a pipeline of prospects across a variety of industries.

This is a hybrid position out of our London office.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify prospect clients and communicate Guidepoint's value proposition via email and telephone
  • Build relationships and schedule meetings with clients and senior sales managers
  • Map companies in order to identify target groups and job functions
  • Utilize Guidepoint's brand to create and develop a robust pipeline of qualified prospects to help drive Guidepoint's commercial success
  • Research target industries, sub-sectors and companies in order to understand their information/research needs and pain-points
  • Work alongside senior sales professionals to provide engaging content for meetings with prospects and effectively articulate our value proposition
  • Develop a strong knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Provide client/prospect feedback to sales and management
What You Have
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record and extracurricular achievement
  • 1+ years of experience in a client-facing role, e.g. sales, account management, client management, etc.
  • Outgoing personality with the ability and willingness to make cold calls and speak with people at all professional levels, including senior management
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to prioritize business development opportunities
  • Ability to utilize excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
