Amazon is innovating in the Operations and Logistics space and looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and analytical Sales Representative for UK Sales. We're seeking someone excited about partnering in launching a new start-up and engaging in B2B sales generation with UK businesses.
We are reinventing everything from go-to-market strategy to lead generation and account management. We need a Sales Representative who can collaborate with Product Management and Tech as we scale this new solution from local to nationwide.
The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating in a start-up environment. You will create your sales strategy from scratch, leveraging existing strategies and ideating independently. You will source new business leads through self-generation practices and handle marketing qualified leads. You will develop cross-functional relationships across Operations, Procurement, Finance, and IT.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue, adoption, and shipper satisfaction for our product.
- Build trust with customers and recommend solutions fitting their business needs.
- Source and close new business leads, including marketing qualified leads.
- Measure performance, analyze root causes, and identify improvement areas.
- Communicate market needs to internal teams, including Product Management and Technical.
- Track progress and overcome obstacles to achieve objectives.
- Analyze purchasing processes and identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and performance acceleration.
- Promote product adoption by advising customers on best practices.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure successful product integration.
- Collaborate with operations and product teams to test bespoke solutions for long-term service capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to expand business relationships within Amazon to add value for customers.
- Assess risks, anticipate challenges, and manage escalations.
- Meet or exceed targets for customer and feature spend adoption.
- Prioritize tasks and manage trade-offs to meet adoption and revenue goals.
This role will be based in London with moderate travel (up to 25%).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in a professional field or military
- Experience generating new opportunities, managing pipelines, and executing deals throughout the sales cycle
- Proven success in exceeding quotas and key performance metrics
- Experience in business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Success in outbound account management or prospecting roles in B2B, especially in solution/technology environments
- Advanced Salesforce.com skills, including dashboard and report development, with programming experience
