Job description

Are you an experienced Associate Level Building Surveyor with a proven track record working within a consultancy background? Are you looking for that next step in your career?

As my client grows, they are looking for an ambitious Associate/Partner level building surveyor to join their growing Newcastle team and develop a Project and Building Consultancy offering.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial reporting for management meetings
  2. Customer care and client management
  3. Managing refurbishment projects for key clients, including contract administration
  4. Providing advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of all types of public and private sector buildings/sites to confirm to the latest building regulations and technical standards
  5. Carrying out building surveys, including condition surveys
  6. Taking particulars on site, writing up specifications, obtaining estimates, planning maintenance programmes and administering contracts for maintenance work
  7. Monitoring progress and quality of building work on site.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant degree qualified - RICS approved
  2. Consultancy experience, preferably with commercial sector project experience
  3. Excellent all-round technical building surveying knowledge
