Job summary

A leading property consultancy in London is seeking a Chartered Surveyor (Associate Level) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience. This role involves project and professional work across commercial properties. You will manage client relationships, oversee project progress, and conduct building surveys. The ideal candidate will have an MRICS qualification and strong IT skills. Offering a competitive salary of £75-80,000, with benefits including a bonus and car allowance, along with hybrid working options.

  • Perform technical due diligence for property acquisitions and disposals.
  • Advise on and manage party wall matters.
  • Prepare and implement planned maintenance schedules.

Dove & Hawk have partnered with a Commercial Real Estate consultancy who are looking to grow the Building Surveying team by adding an Chartered Surveyor (Associate Level) with at least 5 years post-qualification experience to service a mix of clients including investors, lenders, occupiers, developers, and the public sector. The role itself will involve a mix of both Project work and Professional work over a mix of commercial properties (Office Space, Industrial & Retail). This role will suit someone looking to join an established and agile consultancy within the London market.

Duties/Functions of the role:

  • Administer contracts for both small- and large-scale construction projects
  • Maintain and service relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to develop new business through networking and relationship-building initiatives.
  • Manage and monitor project progress from inception to completion
  • Conduct building surveys across various types of properties
  • Perform technical due diligence for property acquisitions and disposals
  • Advise on and manage party wall matters
  • Prepare and implement planned maintenance schedules


Requirements of the role:

Salary Budgets: £75-80,000 Basic Salary, Bonus & Car Allowance

Required working hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm (HYBRID WORKING PROVIDED)
