Associate Building Surveyor
Location - Leeds
Due to continued and sustained expansion of their Building Surveying discipline, they are looking to appoint an Associate Building Surveyorin Leeds or Manchester.This opportunity will see you delivering exciting projects acrossa range of sectors to includeeducation, healthcare, commercial, central government, defence and retail.
What You'll Be Doing
·Taking the lead on projects, deputising for senior members of staff as required, supporting bid processes and aspects of business development.
·Planning and managing project resources including technical development of junior staff
·Preparing and overseeing designs and reports, and undertaking surveys in accordance with the firm's procedures
·Day to day control of internal costs, preparing and issuing fee invoices
·Liaising directly with clients and other stakeholders as appropriate
·Recognising new business opportunities - develops and sustains client relationships
What We're Looking For
·Excellent technical knowledge of building principles, preparing plans and specifications
·Relevant experience working within the Building Surveying industry as a Chartered Surveyor
·JCT and NEC3 contract administration experience
·The ability to monitor and report on progress and expenditure of projects, with sound knowledge of drafting technical documents
