Job description

We are hiring a Banking and Finance Associate into ourleading national team, to be based in either Birmingham or Leeds.

The role

Join Mills & Reeve's growing national banking and finance practice and build your career within a supportive, collaborative team. Based in Birmingham or Leeds, you'll work on complex, high-value domestic and international matters, with plenty of client contact and opportunities to develop your own experience and profile.

The person

You'll ideally be an ambitious lawyer with 0 to 3 years' PQE and substantial banking and finance experience gained within a recognised practice.

You'll bring:

The activities

You'll advise banks, alternative lenders, funds, borrowers and other organisations across a broad range of financing transactions, including:

• Corporate banking and real estate finance
• Acquisition, leveraged and asset-based lending
• Government finance and debt capital markets
• Financing aspects of private equity deals, M&A and property transactions
• Funding arrangements for universities and not-for-profit institutions

You'll also play an active role in business development, building strong client relationships and getting involved in professional networks across Birmingham or Leeds.
