Overview

A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an Associate or Associate Director level Structural Engineer to join its expanding team in Bristol. This opportunity offers involvement in a variety of projects across commercial, residential, retail, and industrial sectors, working within a supportive and progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a busy and efficient structural engineering team.
  • Oversee the structural design and analysis for diverse project portfolio, supporting and directing the team and liaising with clients.
  • Providing high-level technical oversight for reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Use relevant design and modelling software effectively as required.
  • Attend client meetings, site inspections, and internal project reviews.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated project delivery, managing budgets and timelines.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Candidate Requirements
  • Degree in Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng).
  • Chartered with ICE or IStructE
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience (min 5 post chartership ideally)
  • Proficient in structural analysis software
  • Exceptional technical expertise
