HSBC Asset Management (AM), the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC’s worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates, and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. HSBC Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC’s clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.
HSBC Alternatives is the alternative investment arm of HSBC Asset Management, investing globally in a wide spectrum of alternative asset classes which include private market funds, hedge funds, real estate, infrastructure, private debt, and venture capital, and has AUM of $58 billion.
We are currently seeking a professional to join our team as an Associate, Alternative Fund Research. The role holder will have responsibility for performing operational due diligence reviews for investments into hedge funds and other private market funds (private equity, private debt, etc.). Such responsibilities will include conducting due diligence reviews, drafting assessment reports of managers, and making presentations to various committees and stakeholders.
This role is based in HSBC office at 8 Canada Square London; you should be able to travel to London on a weekly basis. The role will involve regular travel for client meetings and other role-related reasons.
