Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group, within the CSO Security Data & AI Lab, seeks an Associate AI Security Specialist to help design, implement and adopt secure AI across the Group. The role focuses on enabling safe AI by embedding security controls and supporting engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Cyber Security, CS, AI or related field, with experience in cyber security or technology risk and knowledge of IAM, data protection, and cloud security concepts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in cyber security or technology risk with exposure to AI, data, or cloud environments desirable.
• Solid understanding of core cyber security principles including IAM, secure application design, and data protection.
• Awareness of public cloud security concepts and tooling; hands-on experience an advantage.
• Interest in AI technologies, including ML concepts and generative AI use cases.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, UK GDPR and their application to AI systems.
• Experience supporting technical implementation, validation, and testing of security controls.

Responsibilities

• Support the secure design, implementation, and adoption of AI systems across the Group.
• Embed security controls and guidance for engineering teams to ensure AI solutions are secure.
• Assist in validating and testing security controls within applications or platforms.
• Communicate security requirements clearly to technical and non-technical partners.
