Pay: £40k - £50k

Associate Adviser (Admin) - Maidstone, Kent

Our client is looking to hire a new Associate Adviser to join their SJP Practice based in Central Maidstone, Kent. The role involves supporting Financial Advisers by preparing suitability reports and assisting in client acquisition.

The candidate should have:

  • Ability to produce comprehensive, accurate, and clear Suitability Reports using both standard paragraphs and free text;
  • Experience in writing suitability letters on topics such as Pensions, Investments, Mortgages, and Protection;
  • Experience preparing illustrations for products like Protection;
  • Back office administration experience related to paraplanning, such as updating client files and ensuring regulatory compliance;
  • Commitment to continuous professional development to meet regulatory standards;
  • Ability to liaise with Business Assurance and ensure cases are graded as suitable on first check;
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • High personal organizational standards;
  • Experience working to targeted service standards and procedures;
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent client service;
  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements;
  • Ambition to become a Financial Adviser within 2-3 years;
  • Part Qualified in Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning;
  • Some paraplanning or Business Development experience;
  • Experience in the financial advice industry;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Sales skills;
  • Team player attitude;
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently;
  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and back office systems.
