  • You will develop and implement customer strategic and tactical plans both short term and long term for all customers in the portfolio
  • This role gives you total account management of the portfolio
  • In addition, you will organise and plan contact strategies within all levels of the customers as to ensure a high level of customer service through the identification of business opportunities, service level issues and added value services
  • Identify and develop strong relationships with key decisions makers (DMUs), via the telephone and external visits, at all levels within a customer account, and in turn network with all other BOC Relational and Transactional resource to ensure all the key objectives in the strategic plans are met or exceeded
  • You will be responsible for price and contract management to ensure profit expectations are met or exceeded and are in line with the overall market strategy
  • Ensure all essential customer knowledge data is captured accurately and in a timely manner to analyse for business opportunities
  • Promote and sell the complete BOC product and service offer
  • You will act as the central point of contact for the customers with regard to commercial, sales and service performance
  • Lead on improvements in BOC service levels to achieve a positive image and differentiate from the competition

  • You have a knowledge of telephone sales skills and strategies with direct sales experience (including exposure to telephone and field)
  • Excellent commercial acumen and sound business acumen
  • In addition, you have a a good level of Microsoft suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • You are able to demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and achievement
  • Desire to succeed and move on in the organisation
  • Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills
  • You also have a good level of negotiation skills
