Job Description:

The Employment team at Mishcon de Reya works on complex, high-profile cases, acting at the highest level for both employers and senior executives.

They are at the forefront of employment law, handling cases involving diversity, gender pay, employment status, the gig economy, data, transparency, and privacy. The team is known for strategic and litigation expertise, appearing in Employment Appeal Tribunal, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court.

Their work covers contentious and non-contentious employment law, collaborating with incentives and business immigration teams. Clients span sectors like financial services, fashion, retail, luxury, media, and more, including LLPs, private equity, and venture capital firms.

Duties and Responsibilities

The role involves advising clients on employment law issues such as discrimination, restrictive covenants, HR advisory, TUPE, unfair dismissal, redundancies, settlement agreements, data theft, confidential information misappropriation, and employment aspects of corporate transactions. There is also opportunity to handle litigious matters in courts and tribunals.

Clients include employers and employees from various sectors. The candidate will be encouraged to develop business and their own experience, working across the full spectrum of employment law, with exposure to partners and associates, maintaining high levels of client contact.
