Job summary

Allocator One is seeking an Associate, Growth & Intelligence in London to design and implement automation that speeds up fundraising and investor relations. You will enhance Ori, the company’s AI platform, and work closely with the IR team and founders to turn raw deal-flow data into actionable insights.

You’ll join a small, outputs-driven team that values hands-on automation, practical AI deployments, and direct exposure to senior leadership across private markets.

Job description

Three years ago we had a thesis: the best returns are shaped by emerging managers, and nobody had built the machine to find them first. So we built it. We see roughly 80% of new fund managers globally, back the top 3%, and anchor them with day-one capital.

Now the machine needs a second builder. We're hiring one Associate, Growth & Intelligence, to build with our existing AI automation lead Oliver: more of our internal processes on autopilot, training our proprietary AI Ori deeper into what we do and how we work, and accelerating fundraising operations running faster and smoother. You'll work hand in hand with Oliver, the IR team, and directly with the founders.

Who we are

Allocator One is the AI-first asset manager for emerging fund managers in private markets. Markets are moving from generalists to specialists, and durable alpha is formed upstream, before the opportunity becomes consensus. Our job is to find it first. We anchor the top 3% of emerging managers and give our LPs day-one access, backed by the largest deal flow in the category. The team is small by design. We build our own tools, including Ori, and we expect you to do the same.

Tasks

This is not a support role that inherits a process. You'll rewrite ours. Every workflow you automate and every capability you add to Ori compounds across the firm, from the IR desk to the platform our investors log into, we move faster every week because of what you built.

General responsibilities:

• Map how we actually work, find what can be automated, and build the agents that do it. You don't do the busywork. You build the AI that eats it.
• Make Ori smarter and more useful: new capabilities, better context, and deeper integration into our daily workflows and the Infra One platform.
• Streamline the processes behind our investor relations team, so every LP touchpoint is faster, cleaner, and more consistent.
• Turn our data, from the largest deal flow in the category, into intelligence the team and our LPs can act on.
• Work alongside the IR team on LP relationships: onboarding, due diligence, follow-ups.

Requirements

Your skills and qualifications:

• You've shipped things without being asked twice. Titles matter less than proof.
• Genuine fluency with AI tools, including prompt and context engineering, and a track record of using them to automate real work. Experience in machine learning is a plus.
• A systems mind: you see a messy process and can't help redesigning it.
• Process-driven, with a low tolerance for stale or inaccurate data.
• Comfortable with fund numbers and investor conversations, and curious about venture and private markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English; German is a nice-to-have.
