Job Description

The Associate Director, Clinical Operations Program Leadership (COPL) is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and implementation of clinical development program operations. The role reports to the Senior Director of the Clinical Trial Delivery Unit. COPL is a key contributor as the lead program-level representative. This individual provides advanced functional and technical expertise, offering strategic (decision points, risk) and operational (timeline scenarios, feasibility & financials) insights to contribute to and make recommendations on clinical development plans. The COPL is accountable for the strategy, planning, oversight, and delivery of program-level clinical operations deliverables. They develop a high-level clinical study operational strategy aligned with the Clinical Development Plan (CDP) and key program objectives.

  • Proven ability to ensure studies and programs are executed to quality, timelines, and budget
  • Deep knowledge of project/program management
  • Proficiency in risk assessment, mitigation, and contingency planning
  • Strong timeline and budget management skills

  • Experience in a Biotech/Pharma environment
  • Advanced scientific or business degree (MS/PhD/PharmD/MBA/MPH) or equivalent experience
Additional Information

The base salary range for this role is $161,000 - $222,000, determined through an analytical approach considering skills, experience, location, and internal equity. Employees are eligible for short-term and long-term incentives, including bonuses and equity.
