Job summary

YMCA St Helens is looking for an Assistant Youth Worker to join our Youth Team across the Youth Hub and community venues. You will support delivering engaging activities and help young people aged 11–18 (and up to 25 where appropriate) to build confidence and life skills.

You will foster safe, inclusive environments and uphold safeguarding practices, with enhanced DBS checks and references required. This role contributes to the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults in our
