About The Role

We are looking to a part-time Assistant Web and Digital Communications Officer to join our Web team, delivering accessible and engaging content on the Council’s public-facing website and intranet.
At North Norfolk District Council, we constantly evolve our organisation through digital transformation, focusing on delivering better value, quality, and efficiency in allour services across the district. At the heart of that transformation is the ongoing development of standards-based web services, which offer an engaging user experience across everything the Council does.

About You

The successful applicant will work alongside our full time Assistant Web & Digital Comms Officer in creating and editing website and intranet content for the organisation.They will work within our existing framework, using content management systems to create and update content pages and internal communications.They will also advise officers across the organisation on the use of plain English and content accessibility matters.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and importantly, innovative in their approach to work. They will require excellent English Language and interpersonal skills to turn business requirements into practical solutions. The ability to prioritise and manage your own time is essential in this role.
