We are currently embarked on an exciting journey to become the global leader in providing Reactor Decommissioning and Radioactive Waste Management Services to service the needs of the worldwide fleet of ageing nuclear reactors as decommissioning progresses.

It’s a stimulating time for the nuclear sector as there is a growing sense of responsibility and investment for the safe decommissioning of nuclear reactors and the management of the UK’s significant inventory of legacy wastes.

Our Reactor Operations and Decommissioning (RO&D) team is a technically diverse group of scientists and engineers, well-placed to meet these challenges in the UK and beyond.

As a result of continued growth, we are looking to recruit scientists and engineers as Assistant Waste and Decommissioning Consultants at locations throughout the UK including Bristol, Epsom, Manchester, Sheffield, Derby and Glasgow. Hybrid working arrangements are welcomed.

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Contribute to project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Innovate solutions using methods like radiological dose modelling, automation, and decommissioning technologies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Science (Chemistry, Physics, Environmental) or Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Process), or relevant experience.
  • Experience in consultancy or regulated industries.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise technical reports.
  • Innovative, open-minded, and questioning attitude.
  • Flexible with work travel to client sites.
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders.
