Job description

Wild Nutrition does supplements differently. Unlike 95% of the supplement market, Food-Grown ingredients are as close to their original food form as possible. Better recognised, better absorbed, better retained.

We are looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager to support the Operations & Logistics Manager in delivering seamless warehouse operations, ensuring the highest standards of stock management, goods movement, team leadership, and compliance at our Lewes Facility.

This role is hands-on and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be instrumental in keeping our warehouse running safely and efficiently, ensuring excellence in fulfilment and supporting the strategic direction of our logistics function.

At Wild Nutrition, we offer more than just a job. We provide a rewarding and meaningful career in a supportive environment that values collaboration, innovation, and wellbeing. Your work will help shape our future and contribute directly to our mission of empowering women's health through pioneering, science-backed supplements.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Support Day-to-Day Operations: Assist in managing incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) stock movements to our Trade Partners and D2C channels.
  2. Team Leadership: Motivate and guide warehouse staff to deliver operational goals with energy, clarity, and alignment with Wild Nutrition values.
  3. Inventory Management Support: Support stock control procedures, including regular cycle counts, stocktakes, and variance investigations.
  4. Compliance & Safety: Uphold Health & Safety standards and ensure warehouse activities meet all relevant regulatory requirements.
  5. SOP Implementation: Support the development and consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures to promote efficiency, safety, and compliance.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Trade, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process, layout, and system improvements.
  8. Training & Development: Support onboarding and upskilling of team members.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Prior experience in warehouse operations, preferably in FMCG, eCommerce, or fulfilment environments.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of inventory procedures and best practices.
  • Technical confidence using WMS or ERP systems (training provided if needed).
  • High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high standards of service.
  • Team-first approach aligned with our values and mission.
  • Forklift license or other equipment training (desirable).
  • Experience supporting operational scale-ups or process improvements (desirable).
  • Previous exposure to B Corp or sustainability-driven business (desirable).

Benefits include:

  • Time allocated annually for volunteering with a local charity.
  • Summer Fridays.
  • Generous pension plan.
  • Private health insurance.
  • Enhanced leave package with service-related extras.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Team discount on Wild Nutrition products.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Enhanced parental leave policies.
  • Be part of a passionate, friendly, and transparent culture.
