The Assistant Visualisation Manager is responsible for delivering small-scale (solo) visualisation projects from start to finish. The role provides support & assistance to the visualisation team on medium or large-scale projects and re-usable asset creation, ensuring that all work is done to a good standard and within the expected timeframe.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that the visualisation output meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Seeking to discover the purpose of the visualisation and looks to embed this into the final output.
  • Delivering a range of typical/standard requests with autonomy.
  • Setting out a delivery plan for requests, ensuring required inputs and reviews are planned to achieve the deadline.
  • Checking and analysing work to ensure it meets or exceeds the objective and is of a good standard.
  • Contributing ideas to how visualisation could enhance the bid, seeking to deliver distinctive value.
  • Creating and updating assets in the 3D library, ensuring they have thumbnails and correctly pathed textures.
  • Updating the resource tracker regularly with own allocations to ensure future projects are resourced appropriately.
  • Seeking to maximise efficiency without compromising on quality and adheres to the Mace brand guidelines.
  • Developing working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders.
  • Working with Visualisation team members providing support & assistance for operational delivery of team/area strategy.
  • Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You'll need to have:

  • Some previous experience in a visualisation role (or equivalent).
  • Effective communicator.
  • Solves problems.

  • Ability to check own work.
  • Inputs into and contributes for portfolio.

You'll also have:

  • Degree in related subject e.g. computer arts, mathematics, architecture (or equivalent).
  • Manages stakeholders.
  • Values sustainability and social responsibility, Acts inclusively.
  • Creates a delivery schedule.
