Working location: Hybrid role. Mixture of Milton Keynes office and site/event filming days. (Flexibility is offered around planning shoots and editing schedules)

Job summary

At NHBC, we’re proud to be raising standards in the house-building industry and now we’re looking for a creative and confident Assistant Video Producer to help us bring that mission to life through dynamic video and photography content. You’ll be part of a small but mighty in-house team, producing visually engaging material for everything from social media campaigns and internal comms to high-profile events. If you love filming, editing, storytelling and want to create work that makes a difference, this could be the role for you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Filming and editing high-quality, on-brand video content for internal and external use
  • Capturing professional photography, from headshots to live events
  • Supporting concept development, storyboarding and shoot planning
  • Working with stakeholders across NHBC, including senior leaders, to bring messages to life
  • Managing post-production with precision, including sound, colour and motion graphics
  • Helping grow NHBC’s video presence across channels like LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube
  • Organising and maintaining kit, digital files and visual assets
  • Supporting the Video Producer and wider team on creative storytelling projects

What we’re looking for

  • Confident video editor with experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.
  • Skilled camera operator with experience filming in a range of environments
  • Someone with a creative eye, strong attention to detail and a passion for great content
  • Excellent communicator – able to put people at ease on camera and take a brief with clarity
  • Happy working independently and on-site at events or filming days
  • A positive, collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced setting
