    EMEA Operations has several functions including a) an efficient and accurate processing centre for users including EMEA offices and London users, b) regional headquarters of Operations, c) maintenance of IT for Operations, d) Optimisation Office. The Optimisation Office has two teams including a) Transformation for EMEA and b) Operation Process Transformation which is responsible for planning and execution of further optimisation of EMEA Operations.

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    Manage the relationship with the Front Office and EMEA branch teams, regarding issue management and inquiries related to Back Office Operations. Enhance standardisation of end to end operation flow for EMEA Operations Plan and progress various projects for further optimisation within EMEA Operations as a member of the Operation Processing Transformation team including 1) revision of EMEA office network and centralisation/outsourcing /offshoring/standardisation of EMEA operations, and 2) monitor and improve the quality of EMEA Operations

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Monitor and evaluate the services provided by EMEA Operations to service recipients and manage communication between service recipients and service provider
    • Organise periodical meeting (Monthly Performance Evaluation Meeting) in line with defined criteria under SLA to keep good governance over outsourced operations.
    • Develop and maintain issue log and MI data sources
    • Challenge irregular handlings and inefficient operation flows and standardise where possible
    • Function as contact person with regard to any issues and concerns on services provided by service provider including EMEA Operations and offshored/outsourced parties.

    WORK EXPERIENCE

    • Experience of back office operations and/or project management
    • Skill of issue solving, stakeholder management

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    Functional / Technical Competencies:

    Essential

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft products to Intermediate level (Word, Excel etc).
    • Experience of creating and presenting materials in stakeholder forums (PowerPoint)
    • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Strong decision-making skills, with excellent communication (written and verbal skills).
    • Recognise the need for change and the ability to generate new ideas.

    Preferred:

    • Data / Business Analysis
    • Operations background in Financial Services

    Education / Qualifications:

    Essential

    • Educated to at least GCSE Grade C level or equivalent in Maths & English
    • A Level education or equivalent
