Assistant Underwriter - Property and Casualty

A London-based MGA is seeking an Assistant Underwriter to join their expanding team. Specialising in property-led commercial underwriting, including MD, BI, and Liabilities, the MGA handles a broad range of UK-only trades with retail premiums ranging from £10k to £750k. The role involves supporting the evaluation of insurance applications, assessing risks, determining coverage levels and premiums, and managing accounts.

The ideal candidate will be taking their underwriting exams and have a solid understanding of underwriting fundamentals, with valuable exposure to reinsurance and binders management. Strong relationship management, attention to detail, and the ability to learn from and support senior underwriters are essential.
