A financial services company is seeking an Assistant Underwriter to focus on Financial Lines business in a hybrid role based in London. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of insurance experience and be familiar with the London MRC contract. Responsibilities include reviewing risk submissions and liaising with brokers. Purpose of the Role:
To work in the equinox Lectio team as an underwriter focusing on Financial Lines business to help deliver growth and expansion of this cross class underwriting facility.

Person Specification:
You should be comfortable working with employees at all organisational levels, and will be the contact person for Financial Lines business, and working with them to provide solutions for their clients.
The role will be hybrid, split between the office and working from home. As such you should have the ability to be self-motivated/disciplined.
Accuracy and attention to detail is critical as well as the ability to handle multiple priorities during busy periods.
You should be prepared to teach the junior team members features of Financial Lines classes and help them understand so they can develop and assist more with your when workloads required.
