The role:

  • Preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
  • Preparation of Travel Plans and Travel Plan Coordination
  • Preparation and presentation of technical data and drawings
  • Undertaking junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
  • Liaison with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities
  • Ensuring timely and budgeted delivery of assigned tasks
  • Supporting Team Leaders in providing advice on Highways & Transport matters
  • Conducting site appraisals/visits, designing surveys, and contributing to reports and presentations
  • Maintaining up-to-date electronic and paper project files
  • Assisting with other traffic/transport tasks as required

What you need to succeed:

  • Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of UK Transport Planning standards and processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Good numeracy skills and spreadsheet understanding
  • AutoCAD skills (desirable)
  • Experience with ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately with numbers
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Problem-solving and interpersonal skills
