The role:
- Preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
- Preparation of Travel Plans and Travel Plan Coordination
- Preparation and presentation of technical data and drawings
- Undertaking junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
- Liaison with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities
- Ensuring timely and budgeted delivery of assigned tasks
- Supporting Team Leaders in providing advice on Highways & Transport matters
- Conducting site appraisals/visits, designing surveys, and contributing to reports and presentations
- Maintaining up-to-date electronic and paper project files
- Assisting with other traffic/transport tasks as required
What you need to succeed:
- Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of UK Transport Planning standards and processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Good numeracy skills and spreadsheet understanding
- AutoCAD skills (desirable)
- Experience with ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately with numbers
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with good workload management
- Professional and approachable demeanor
