Job description

To provide highway development management advice to ensure effective transport assessment and input throughout the development process, including managing a case load of predominantly minor sites and supporting the Senior Transport Planner on more complex sites. To assist with the provision of effective transport input on pre-application enquiries, outline planning applications, reserved matters applications and planning appeals as necessary.

Engaging in effective negotiation to secure highways and transportation mitigation for development proposals including through Section 106 discussions and identifying other funding sources as appropriate. To support effective partnerships and working relationships with statutory, voluntary, private agencies and communities.
