A career without limits

As the nation’s flag carrier, we take great pride in connecting Britain with the world and the world with Britain.

It’s something we’ve been doing for over 100 years, ever since we launched the world’s first international scheduled air service between London and Paris.

This originality has been in our blood since day one. It’s the spirit we share with the people that fly with us, our partners, and our colleagues.

So, whether you are a reassuring voice on the end of a phone, a smile at the door, under a wing keeping the turbines spinning or landing us gently in far-flung places, a job at British Airways is yours to make.

We know great things can happen when you’re inspired to think big and bring your ambition to work every day, which is why, at British Airways the sky is never the limit.

The Role: Assistant Traffic Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term

  • Coordinate resource allocation, making sure the right team members are working on the right tasks at the right time.
  • Monitor timelines and key milestones, keeping all projects on schedule.
  • Serve as a communication hub between internal teams (design, video, copy, production) and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with agencies and third parties to ensure clarity and alignment across all activities.
  • Manage regular updates, resolve delays, and help prepare assets for review and distribution.
  • Lead recurring and repeatable design activities with a strong end-to-end workflow mindset.
  • Step in for the Traffic Manager during absences and assist in reporting on studio productivity using relevant tools.

What You’ll Bring To British Airways

  • A collaborative spirit with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to solving problems and maintaining workflow.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, capable of working seamlessly across departments and functions.
  • A dynamic mindset that thrives in fast-paced, creative environments.

Your Experience

  • Background in project or creative production management.
  • Familiarity with studio workflows and tools (e.g., Adobe Workfront)
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating creative teams or working in a studio environment.
  • Proven experience in resource management within a creative environment in particular video, design and copy teams.
