A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Assistant Trackside Manager to join Restaurant Associates, delivering world-class hospitality for our partner between February and December.

This role requires the successful applicant to travel and work abroad for approximately half of the year alongside a high-performance team within Formula 1.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup of hospitality areas
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams
• Assist in managing hospitality staff, including hosts, bartenders, and catering personnel, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities
• Lead briefings to communicate event details, guest expectations, and service standards
• Monitor staff performance during the event
• Ensure that all VIP guests, sponsors, and corporate clients receive top-tier service and attention
• Assist with the coordination of special requests, such as dietary requirements or exclusive experiences
• Work with the Trackside Manager to coordinate the delivery of food, beverages, and other event services
• Oversee the smooth operation of hospitality zones, ensuring they are fully stocked, clean, and functioning properly throughout the event
• Be proactive in resolving issues related to service, logistics, or guest experience
• Ensure all hospitality operations comply with health and safety standards, including food handling, fire safety, and crowd management
• Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of hospitality areas after the event
• Help prepare post-event reports
• Work closely with catering teams, security, and logistics to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Communicate effectively with different departments to handle last-minute requests

Requirements:

• Experience in hospitality, event management, or a similar role, preferably in a high-end or luxury environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on VIP guest relations
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Flexibility and willingness to work long hours, including weekends, with potential for international travel
• Knowledge of event logistics, catering coordination, and health and safety regulations
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
