Job Title: Assistant Town Planner

Location : Preston

Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 per annum, Plus Benefits

The Company:

My client is an independent planning and development consultancy, who are looking for a motivated Assistant Town Planner.

Founded over 20 years ago, this company are renowned in their field and their team has continued to grow significantly. They operate in a wide range of industries including Housing, Energy, and Industrial. Key recent projects include an iconic UK football team’s training centre, securing approval for new family homes in the green belt, and a 60-hectare solar farm.

The Role:

As an Assistant Town Planner, you will work across a range of exciting projects. You will work across all stages of planning work including:

preparation and submission of fee proposals, initial appraisals, preparation, and submission of applications (of all types), planning appeals and planning inquiries, dealing with planning enquiries and/or planning policy advice.

Requirements:

  • RTPI Accredited Degree
  • 6+ Months experience in the public or private sector
