Confidential is seeking an Assistant Town Planner to join a respected independent planning and development consultancy in Surrey. This role suits a recent graduate or early-career planner eager to develop across residential, commercial, mixed-use and strategic schemes within a supportive team.

You will work with experienced planners on applications from appraisal to submission and appeals, gaining mentorship and exposure to a diverse project portfolio in a collaborative environment.

Formación

• Degree (and ideally a postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and research abilities.
• Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
• Interest in progressing towards MRTPI status.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Undertake planning policy research and site appraisals.
• Support preparation of planning statements and reports.
• Liaise with local authorities, consultants and clients.
• Monitor planning applications and respond to queries.
• Assist senior planners on development projects.
