Assistant Planner

Location: Stratford-upon-Avon

We're seeking an Assistant Planner to join a vibrant team in Stratford-upon-Avon!

What We're Looking For:

  1. Experience: At least 12 months of planning experience, ideally within the private sector.
  2. Education: A degree in Town Planning or a related field (preferably RTPI accredited).
  3. Skills: Proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent results.
  4. Requirements:
    • IT proficiency.
    • Strong report-writing skills.
    • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
    • Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.

About the Role:

You'll play a key part in supporting the team by:

  1. Handling client enquiries via phone and email.
  2. Preparing scopes of work and briefing notes for clients.
  3. Conducting site assessments, policy analysis, and material consideration reviews.
  4. Preparing and submitting planning applications.
  5. Building knowledge of Planning Law and Practice while engaging in diverse and impactful projects.
