The Role...

You will be required to provide administration and data analysis support to the Soho Home Product Quality and Compliance Team in delivering and managing product and supplier quality, safety and legal compliance performance reports and documents. You will assist the team to ensure all products and suppliers perform to all required legislation, standards and quality requirements across all countries of operation including the UK, US and Europe.

This is a full-time role based in our Soho, London office with a focus on maintaining technical files, ensuring accuracy and availability of product and supplier performance reporting, arranging test certification and QC inspection reports to assist in the delivery of high-quality compliant product.

Working in a fast-paced environment you will gain experience in product and supplier legal compliance, product testing standards, development, performance reporting and data analysis across an array of homeware product types and categories as required in all countries of operation.

The ideal candidate will have a technical-based background / education with an interest in homewares, a keen attention to detail, data analysis and the ability to deliver within tight deadlines. Experience in a retail or manufacturing technical role, covering product testing and supplier engagement with an interest in data gathering, analysis and presentation is desirable.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

Provide day to day administration and data analysis support to the team to ensure product and supplier legal compliance. Capability to reliably follow technical details and direction accurately producing technical documents and data driven reports with a high level of accuracy and detail.

  • Support with supplier and product review process and document management.
  • Ensure all Product Technical Files and Documents are produced on time and effectively filed and maintained.
  • Request and review Vendor documents including declaration of conformity, packaging reports, user manuals, care guides and pre-shipment inspection reports.
  • Ensure Product Performance and Invoice Trackers are produced and always maintained.
  • Clearly articulate, maintain and manage technical files, demonstrating due diligence for all internal and external partners.
  • Ensure accuracy and maintenance of data retrieval of product and supplier compliance to support requirements for importation, quality issues and product performance review.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners daily, clearly communicating product testing and compliance requirements.
  • Support the team on product and supplier performance assessment and data review
  • Participate in team projects aligned to core business objectives
  • Represent the Quality and Compliance team when the Global Head of Quality and Compliance; and Technologist are absent, managing any queries efficiently in a timely manner.
