Job summary

VerseOne Group is recruiting enthusiastic staff to join our team of pharmacy assistants, technicians and pharmacists delivering safe, high‑quality medicines to patients promptly. After structured training, you will become an integral part of an established team and may pursue NVQ level 2 as part of the role.

You will work in clean rooms, learning to prepare medicines using isolators, calculate doses, assemble products and perform checks.

Qualifications

• Structured training to join an established team.
• NVQ Level 2 offered as part of the role.
• Training in aseptic production including chemotherapy, clinical trials and IV additives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medicines in clean rooms using isolators.
• Assemble, label and check aseptic products.
• Prepare and calculate worksheets, transcribe patient information and doses from chemocare.
• Carry out daily checks and report any out of specification results.
• Complete environmental monitoring tasks (contact plates, weekly plates, isolator leak testing).
• Stock management and maintenance of operator validations.
• Follow standard operating procedures.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team of pharmacy assistants, technicians and pharmacists to help deliver safe, high-quality medicines to our patients in a timely manner.

After a period of structured training, you will become a key part of an established team. Once competent you will be given the opportunity to complete an NVQ level 2 as part of the role.

Working in clean rooms you will be trained to prepare medicines using isolators, calculate doses, assemble products and perform checks. You will assist all staff in maintaining the aseptic unit by performing critical tasks to ensure the cleanliness.

With the introduction of a new qualification currently being completed by some of our assistants, this is an exciting opportunity to start a rewarding career in technical services

To carry out all work following standard operating procedures.

Manufacture chemotherapy, clinical trials and other intravenous additives.

Assembly, labelling and accuracy checking of aseptic products.

Prepare and calculate worksheets, transcribing patient information and doses from chemocare.

Daily checks to be carried out reporting any out of specification results.

Complete environmental monitoring testing duties, e.g contact plates, weekly plates and isolator leak testing.

Stock management.

Maintaining all operator validations.
