We're offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Technical Coordinator to join our team at our Takeley office in Essex. In this role, you'll support the delivery of new-build housing projects from the early design stage through to completion. You'll assist in managing design information, coordinating with external consultants and stakeholders, and working closely with local authorities and internal departments, including our on-site teams.

Relevant experience in a similar role within construction or housing
Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently
Strong time management and task prioritisation skills

Effective team player
Working towards or holding a construction/design-related qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) (advantageous)
Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or REVIT software (advantageous)
Assist in managing external consultants to produce and deliver working drawings on time and within scope and budget
Attend design, coordination, and site progress meetings
Support senior members of the technical team including engineering and technical managers
Help manage site investigation work and civil/structural design through consultants
Respond to technical queries from sites and assist in resolving issues
Coordinate and distribute design drawings and documentation
Contribute to the implementation and improvement of departmental procedures
