Job summary

The Cumberland is recruiting for a permanent Youth Justice Service role in Carlisle, United Kingdom. You will lead a multi-agency team to improve outcomes for children and young people involved in the criminal justice system, guide staff, supervise case work and help deliver the Youth Justice Plan.

This is a role for an experienced Youth Justice professional with strong leadership, partnership working and a commitment to ensuring timely, right-sized support for families. DBS check required.

Join our Youth Justice Service and play a vital role in improving outcomes for children and young people involved in the criminal justice system. Working within a multi-agency team, you will support the day-to-day operational delivery of the service, provide guidance and supervision to staff, oversee case management and quality assurance, and help drive continuous improvement across the team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Youth Justice professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for partnership working, and a commitment to ensuring children, young people and families receive the right support at the right time. You'll also contribute to the delivery of Cumberland's Youth Justice Plan and the development of high-quality, child-centered services. This role is available on a permanent basis.
