Job Title: Assistant Team Manager – DoLS Team
Location: Sutton

An exciting job role has recently become available at the London Borough of Sutton Council. They are looking for an Assistant Team Manager for their DoLS Team. We need a full-time, experienced BIA with management experience to support the team.

What will your responsibilities be?

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for supervising five full-time BIAs, ensuring the quality of DoLS assessments, and supporting the Team Manager in various duties to improve KPIs. You will need to address the increasing complexity of cases and the rise in s21a challenges, which are bringing our work under greater court scrutiny. Additionally, you will act as part of a statutory service, ensuring that no one known to LBS is unlawfully deprived of their liberties.
