We have a fabulous opportunity for two Assistant Team Managers (ATM) to join our evolving Community Occupational Therapy and Reablement Teams.
We offer the opportunity to influence and assist in developing and innovating within these dynamic services and to play an important role in how OT practice is delivered to the residents of Solihull.
Our Reablement Team supports people to regain their independence at home, reduce their packages of care and achieve a good quality of life by achieving their goals.We provide a service for Solihull residents aged 18 and above and we are supported by Early Response and Enhanced Reablement Services.We are seeking a creative OT to help us grow this service to meet raising demands and embrace new ways of working for successful outcomes. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, acting as specialist OT practice lead.
Our Community Team specialise in ensuring individuals of all ages receive the support they need to maintain their independence at home. Your team will support people and their carers, providing a strength based assessment, which may include moving and handling, assessing for aids and adaptations by implementing a least restrictive approach and promoting independence. As an OT Assistant Team Manager within Solihull, your responsibilities will include providing line management and support to a team of OTs and OT Assistants (OTAs).Your team will focus on promoting well-being by assessing and delivering interventions that enhance individuals' quality of life in their own homes.
Reporting to the Team Manager, you will also link closely with other ATM’s across the services.You will oversee case allocation and be responsible for the monitoring of practice, practitioner performance and staff or service development needs.
You will also be responsible for operational decisions in support of the Team Manager, ensuring that the service delivers a fair, equitable and timely service for residents whilst meeting our statutory duties.
