A local council in the UK is seeking a full-time Assistant Team Manager for the Purbeck Family Help team in Wareham. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Social Worker with a background in managing teams and child protection. We are seeking a full time Assistant Team Manager to join our Purbeck Family Help team, based in Wareham. You will need to be an experienced, qualified Social Worker.
Ideally you will have experience of managing, appraising and supervising staff, Child in Need case supervision and mentoring others. You will have experience of complex case work and have the ability to manage and chair meetings. You will jointly lead on practice development within the workforce and act as the Lead Child Protection Practitioner within the team.
