About the Role:

Are you a driven and experienced social work professional ready to take the next step in your leadership career? Swindon is seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Team Manager to support and lead frontline teams in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As an Assistant Team Manager, you will be responsible for managing a pod of social workers. We know from feedback from young people that the relationship that social workers have with our children is pivotal to achieving the best possible outcomes.
  • The ability to provide those you manage with reflective supervision, which focuses on the importance of the relationship between social worker and the young person is vital in ensuring our children and young people’s needs are met.
  • You will be supported by a team and service manager and an extensive induction and training offer that will enable you to develop and progress your career.
