Your Role & Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and support a team of Social Workers and professionals delivering statutory services to children and families.

Oversee performance against key targets and ensure quality assurance standards are consistently met.

Collaborate across agencies to promote joint working, equality, and integrated support services.

Ensure safeguarding principles are embedded in practice, while enabling children to achieve safe and successful outcomes.

Support staff development through coaching, supervision, and reflective practice, ensuring high standards of professional delivery.

Implement Sefton's childcare and safeguarding policies to maintain effective, cost-efficient services that meet legislative requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with valid Social Work England registration .

Strong knowledge of legislation and statutory frameworks relevant to children's services.

Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within children and family services.

Excellent leadership, communication, and multi-agency collaboration skills.

Commitment to quality improvement and outcomes-focused service delivery.
