We are seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join us as Assistant Team Manager. Hampshire County Council's Childrens Services has established dedicated Family Help Teams to provide tailored support to families.

What you’ll do:

As an Assistant Team Manager, you will support Social Workers within the Family Help Hubs, including:

  • Working with children under child protection and child-in-need plans, and involved in legal proceedings.
  • Conducting pre-birth and parenting assessments in multi-agency practices.
  • Focusing on safeguarding adolescents in their context.
  • Implementing the Hampshire Approach, ensuring children's voices are heard and recorded.
What we’re looking for:
  • At least three years of frontline statutory social care experience working with children, young people, and families.
  • Passion and commitment to improving outcomes for children.
  • A Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Current driving license, vehicle, and business insurance, as travel within Hampshire may be required.
