A public service organization in Ipswich is seeking an Assistant Team Manager for the Youth Justice Team. This role involves managing multi-agency teams and developing local partnerships. The Suffolk Youth Justice Service (SYJS) works with children and young people who are in, or on the edge of, the Youth Justice System. The service collaborates with parents, carers, and victims of youth crime. SYJS is a multi-agency partnership hosted by Suffolk County Council.
The aim is to prevent offending by children and young people and protect the public from harm caused by their offending. The service also focuses on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of these children and young people, while enhancing their life aspirations and opportunities. Suffolk Youth Justice Service is working towards becoming a trauma-informed organisation.
