Job Description:

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to over 1.15 million people, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

This is a permanent, part-time position with a 4-week Rota OOH period. Salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.

The post holder will support Team Leaders in managing the GP Out of Hours Service (OOH) and assist with appointment bookings during busy periods. Responsibilities include guiding support staff, covering shifts in the absence of a Team Leader, overseeing daily appointment diaries, and ensuring calls from NHS 24 are processed efficiently. A driving license is preferred. Candidates should have good computer, communication, and IT skills.
