Wirral Council seeks an Assistant Systems Accountant to join their Finance Service. This role involves supporting finance system maintenance, user support, and training. We are seeking an Assistant Systems Accountant to join the Finance Service at Wirral Council and support our finance system support team. Your primary role will be to assist the Senior Finance Manager - Systems in delivering support for our finance system, including system maintenance, user support, and training.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated, and committed, with strong financial technical accounting skills and excellent finance system knowledge. You should have some level of accounting qualification, preferably with experience in a local government finance environment, and possess strong financial analysis skills.
