We're looking for an
Assistant Syndicate Accountant
Based in our London office and reporting to the incumbent Syndicate Accountant, this role will sit within the Syndicate Finance team, working on the Hamilton backed Syndicate 4000.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide support to the senior members of the Syndicate Finance team in all aspects of Group and Lloyd's Regulatory reporting (reporting in US and UK GAAP respectively). Note, the day-to-day bookkeeping is outsourced to an offshore team based in India, and this is a key relationship to manage.
Our ideal candidate will be someone with recent experience in a Lloyd's managing agency or insurance company, or someone from professional practice with recent experience of London market insurance audits or transactions.
Hamilton Global Specialty is our multi-platform, specialty insurer operating primarily through a Lloyd's Syndicate and Dublin operating company with a managing general agency in the US.
